Ransa Comercial S.A. (Paita) from Peru, became the first depot in the world that qualify for 360Q certification

On May 3rd, 2016 in Paita, Peru, the annual container depot audit was executed by the container department of Seatrade Reefer Chartering NV as a part annual performance program of their warehouses, during the audit estimates and repaired containers are checked.

For this purpose the 360Q Association had developed a very special & specific questionnaire and guidance notes. On the questionnaire weighting factors are added per subject and question, depending on the importance. The container depots are in this way be able to prepare the audit accurately.

The audit starts with checking several documents such as training and material certificates. A very important issue is the accuracy of the estimate. Non-repaired and repaired containers are inspected on missing damages on the estimate.

Seatrade Reefer Chartering NV demands from their container depots to create an estimate within 48 hours and this estimate must be complete.

During the audit repaired containers are inspected on quality of welding, foaming, straightening as a part of typical container depot processes. Workmen ship and knowledge is the basics of a proper quality repair.

When inserting all findings in the 360Q questionnaire the spreadsheet showed that Ransa Comercial SA (Paita) passed.
