Reefer operator grows involvement in boxship sector as reefer market dwindles
Seatrade, the world’s largest specialised reefer operator, is deepening its involvement in the boxship sector.
The Dutch operator is firming up orders for up to eight more, 2,250-teu, high-reefer units at Yangfan Group’s facility in Zhoushan, to add to four already under construction at the Chinese yard.

Managing director Yntze Buitenwerf says the Benelux-based operator has inked a fresh deal for the first two of up to eight boxships, including options.
