Coronavirus: China strives to bring back truck drivers as port logjam persists
Zhejiang government says the box congestion has seriously affected foreign trade and port operations in the province. It aims to bring 3,000 container truck drivers back on the roads by February 23, and to double that tally by the end of the month

MAJOR Chinese port city Ningbo is relaxing travel restrictions on container truck drivers who have been struggling to return to work amid the spreading coronavirus.
The move comes as local policymakers are keen to break the logistics logjam at the world’s third busiest box port, which is suffering from a lack of trucks to pick up cargo.
